Iyanya, a singer, has shared who he thinks is responsible for the claims that Ubi Franklin, a well-known person who manages artists, took a fancy watch at Davido’s wedding in Miami recently.
Iyanya responded by saying that the stories were made up to hurt Franklin’s reputation by people close to Davido who do not care for him.
He posted on X, saying, “This is a total untruth.
“The jewelry seller has spoken up to say this isn’t true; it was simply a story made up to hurt Ubi’s reputation by people who don’t support him in that group.
I won’t allow my brother to be wrongly accused.”
Meanwhile, Ubi Franklin said he did not steal a wristwatch at Davido’s wedding.
In a message posted on his X account on Wednesday, Franklin said the rumors were untrue and not accurate.
He mentioned that Benny, the seller of the expensive watch, had already proven the theft claims to be false earlier that day.
